Beginning Web Page Development Gallery

Beginning Web Page Development is offered at area high schools for concurrent credit. This is the same course that is offered on a regular basis for NIACC college students. High school students in the course gain credit toward their diplomas while getting a valuable head start on their college careers.

Twice each year, NIACC's Web Design group hosts a recognition banquet for the top Beginning Web Page Development students from the area high schools.

In the spring of 2007, 168 high school students completed final projects for the course. Each of these projects was reviewed by NIACC personnel for quality. High-school results are compared to on-campus results to ensure that the high school students are achieving the same objectives as their on-campus counterparts. The top high school candidates were invited to the dinner and many received scholarships to NIACC. Below is a representative collection from the 79 scholarship and honorable-mention winners.
