  CCNP Flex-teach learning opportunity

Networking professionals who want to expand their networking expertise; NIACC is offering an opportunity to do so in a flexible learning environment. CISCO Advanced Routing is the first of four advanced networking courses that can be taken through an online environment. All curriculum materials and resources will be accessible through the Internet. Flextures (Flexible Lectures) will be developed for each of the modules to supplement the material in the curriculum. These will be delivered using podcasts. These podcasts will allow the student to prep for a unit, review a unit, or get coaching for a unit anywhere by use of the I-Pod or any other device that plays mp3 material.

Lab equipment at NIACC will be made available to log into by appointment to do specific labs. The labs will also be made available on campus to work on in a live setting. Lab times will be at various times during the day, evenings, and on the weekends.

Chat opportunities will available to students along with the possibility of some evening on-line sessions.

Individual learning programs will be established between the student and a NIACC instructor. The course work is designed to advance an individual beyond the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) level and begin to prepare them for the Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) designation.
